Annual Picnic
Our annual Greyhound Picnic was held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 on Mountsberg Road. With hot dogs, hamburgers, and a host of prizes to be won, it was a must-attend event! For those of you who managed to attend, thank you. You made the day another success! A number of raffle and door prizes were awarded, and excellent vendors were on hand to tempt the pocketbook.
Best of all, we were joined by Kathy and Jeff Bowman, and their daughters Kyndal and McKenzie, from West Virginia. As you might know, Kathy is our contact who chooses the dogs for our West Virginia runs. It was a pleasure to host her and her family! For more photos from the event, click here.

The Hugs for Hounds fundraiser assists sighthound and other-breed dog rescues to raise funds. The sixth annual event featured vendors, a BBQ, an evening buffet, entertainment, raffles, silent auctions, and more.
